    Help the Haitian People by purchasing these beautiful hearts. They are hand carved by the Haitian Artisans, working very hard carving and sanding to get the perfect designs. Soapstone is found on the lands of Haiti where the people wander, searching for the rock to surface. Our hearts come in three sizes; small, medium, large. Right now we have five designs of flowers. These hammocks are made from 50% cotton and 50% acrylic and comfortably support 418 lbs. The cloth measures 63" wide and 94" long, and the hammock can be stretched up to 11.75 feet. The Zenu Tribe cultivates the thin stalk-like leaves using processes and techniques that date back to the 1500's and weaves them into various geometric patterns creating these unique bracelets.  Artisans at the fair trade organization Joyeria Semilla are known for creating jewelry from materials readily available in their environment including seeds, natural fibers and leaves. Joyeria Semilla’s objectives are to create new jobs, to revive Colombia's traditional handicrafts and to better manage their natural resources.     Please give a "Hoot" about this cute owl. He's looking for a friend and promises if you bring him home he will watch over your house at night and protect it from strangers.  Gourd Carving is a traditional craft of the high Andean Mountains of Peru. Each gourd is skinned, cleaned, and sun-dried before artisans etch and burn the intricate designs that adorn its surface. In addition the artisans accented this gourd with ceramic pieces that represent the ears and feet, and fitted it with a wooden nose. Gourds are also a natural and uniquely shaped vegetable, similar to a pumpkin or a squash. As such, designs, shape and dimensions will vary slightly. Measures approximately 2-3/4” high x 2-1/2” diameter Handmade, carved, and etched by artisans in Peru and fair trade imported.
