**Holiday Splendor Collection**
Introducing our Holiday Splendor Collection, featuring hand-painted glass ornaments that were envisioned for decades and finally became a reality in 2006! This collection draws inspiration from the lacquered boxes of the world-famous village of Fedoskino, where artists have been crafting exquisite miniature lacquered paper-mâché boxes inlaid with mother of pearl for nearly 200 years.
After years of mastering this technique, we developed an innovative approach to painting that we are proud to present on our exclusive G. DeBrekht glass ornaments. Each ornament is made from handblown glass, measuring 1.5 mm thick, reminiscent of traditional practices. We spray silver powder inside the glass ball and then sandblast the exterior for a stunning finish.
Our miniatures are painted using a combination of transparent and opaque paints, employing a multi-layer painting technique to achieve a realistic, deep iridescent effect, simulating the sunlight or moonlight illuminating the landscape or beautiful scenery depicted on our ornaments. Every side of the ornament is beautifully decorated and accented with touches of gold.
The ornaments are finished with a lovely satin ribbon and packaged in a luxurious satin-lined box. Each ornament is an original work of art, destined to be cherished and passed down as a family tradition for generations to come.
